Taking the Leap of Faith

Author: Scott Burkholder

Ever dream of having your own business and running it from home? I had that same dream and for many years, but I would just push it off as an impossible dream that will never become a reality. Does that sound familiar?

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. At the time of writing this article, I am 33 years old, married for over 10 years with a two year old son and my wife is pregnant with our second child. I work in the construction industry, in which I feel I am successful at, but still unfulfilled in my career. I have been going back and forth with what I should do. That's when I seriously began to check into starting a business online.

I am a born again Christian and so I spent much time in prayer and seeking God's guidance because there are too many scams out there and I didn't need to be wasting my time or money on them. Sure I consulted with my wife first, and she entrusted the decision to me.

After much consideration, I took the "Leap of Faith" and started a business online. I am not saying that the one I started was ordained by God, but I feel he led me to make a worthy investment that will allow me to build a solid business by associating myself with reputable companies.

Taking the "Leap of Faith" is not only done by Christian people. I feel all people have to have a measure of faith especially to start a business.

I took the leap and have been working the business for only a short time when writing this article. I feel that this business lines up with my goals and will cause my dream of being able to work out of my home and spend more time with my family a reality.

Starting a business is a decision that should not be made loosely or quickly. Take time to think about it and maybe even pray about it before you make your decision. Like I said there are many scams out there and I wouldn't want to see you waste your time and money on them.
